What is an e-consultation?

With e-consultation, we support you from your own familiar environment, whether at home or another location of your choice. This allows you to receive the help you need without travelling to one of our locations, making efficient use of your time.

This can be especially helpful when you are physically or mentally unable to visit a care provider. Treatment via video consultation has been shown to be just as effective as treatment provided on-site.


In some cases, a blended approach is also possible, where you attend a few sessions on location and complete other sessions online via video consultation. Together, we find the solution that works best for you.


Your therapist, coach, or support worker provides the same level of trust and support as in person, but remotely.

How does online assistance work?

To give you more clarity about what to expect, we will explain in 6 steps how online assistance works.Step 1: Make an appointmentJust like when making an appointment on location, you contact us.Step 2: Confirmation emailAs soon as you have made an appointment, you will receive a confirmation email from us with information about the appointment, just like usual.Step 3: Explanation of the online appointmentYou will receive an explanation by email or telephone about the first online appointment, including an explanation about accessing the video call. During this conversation, you can also ask any other questions you have in advance.Step 4: Gaining access to the video callFor a conversation via video calling, you need a computer, tablet or mobile with a camera and internet connection. Together we will determine via which platform the conversation will take place; there are various options for this. How you then gain access to the video call depends on the platform that is used. Step 5: The first appointmentThe first appointment is, just like with an appointment on location, an intake. You see each other with a video image just like on location.Step 6: The further course of the assistance.Together it is determined how the further course of the assistance will be.
