Psycho-education from the book My Autism and Talents

Psycho-education is a method aimed at explaining autism to children, young people, or adults with autism. It helps them understand what autism means for them personally and what possibilities are connected to it.


The goal is to support individuals with autism in gaining a better understanding of themselves and to help them experience that autism also has positive aspects and strengths.


Dr. Sebiha Ünal has published a psycho-education book based on the principles of positive psychology and her own developed methodology (Positive Mind).


Within our Autism Expertise Center (AECSU), independent Positive Mind Autism Coaches (PMAC), trained through our Autism Academy (AASU), work from this vision, with a strong focus on talents, strengths, and interests.
