Care and support cost money. Fortunately, many costs are paid for you. But who pays what?

Autism Expertise Centre (AECSU) is a medical specialist care institution recognised by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (institution number 15379). Treatment at the Autism Expertise Centre can be reimbursed by your health insurance after a referral from a general practitioner, company doctor or medical specialist. We have contracts with various health insurers. If you are affiliated with a health insurer with which we do not have a contract, it is important to inquire about the reimbursement with your health insurer. Autism Expertise Centre (AECSU) is affiliated with ZorgDomein. With this online referral application, general practitioners can refer patients more quickly to the desired care institution. ZorgDomein quickly and clearly provides an overview of the care we have to offer with the associated access times. Are you requesting autism support?, this can be reimbursed from your WLZ, Youth Act or WMO budget. We have agreements for Care in Kind (ZIN) with several municipalities in the Netherlands. If you fall under a municipality with which we do not have an agreement, you can submit an application for a Personal Budget (PGB) to your municipality. For the Belgium location, the treatment or guidance can be reimbursed by your health insurance or VAPH budget. You submit the application via your health insurance company. If you have a care agreement with us, we apply a notice period of 1 or 2 months (depending on the duration of the care agreement) for cancellation. For a care agreement for an indefinite period, we apply a notice period of 2 months. Please note: You are responsible for paying our invoice yourself.
